Thorirson

We respect all on the journey - their experiences, their beliefs and their opinions.

The Thorirson journey begins with 'The Balance Point Foundation'. Without the understanding to align with the entirity of ourselves, it can be difficult and discordant to growth.
The Balance Point explores spiritual transformation, personal awareness and the relationship between the Ego and the Empathic Being. Join author Simon de la Mere for reflections on triggers, identity, significant relationships, the Dark Night, spiritual awakening, conscious participation and the journey toward Union.
The website and resources introduce 'The Balance Point Framework' through practical explanations, book readings and conversations for people seeking a clearer understanding of their own spiritual journey.
At times, a deep discomfort can arise—a quiet sense that you are no longer fully aligned with yourself.
Certain experiences, particularly those involving significant relationships, may feel profoundly unsettling. These may be relationships we describe as soulmates, karmic connections, or significant others: people whose presence seems to disturb the identities, patterns and understandings through which the Ego has previously organised experience.
Such encounters can create uncertainty, confusion and emotional intensity. They may feel difficult to navigate because they do more than affect the surface of our lives. They can open deeper questions about who we are, what we are holding, and what may now be asking to change.
The Balance Point Framework offers a language through which these experiences can be recognised and explored.
Rather than treating discomfort as evidence that something has gone wrong, the framework invites us to consider whether it may be revealing an opening—an opportunity for the Ego to see more clearly, release what no longer serves the Whole Being, and enter into greater cooperation with the Empathic Being.
The pathway is not always easy.
But through recognition, reflection and a growing capacity to remain present with what is unfolding, clarity may begin to emerge on the other side.
Perhaps something in The Balance Point felt familiar. A recognition you had not previously been able to name. A different way of understanding the Ego. A new perspective on triggers, identity, significant relationships, transformation or Union. Thorirson offers several ways to continue exploring these ideas. You can learn more about the Balance Point Framework, purchase the book, join the mailing list for future reflections, or book a private conversation in which your own experience can be expressed and explored. Your journey remains your own. We are here to offer language, perspective and a place to be heard.
